Memberful is the new platform CMA is using to manage membership subscriptions. It is a user-friendly way to manage your CMA membership. Once your membership is current in the Memberful platform, you will be able to create a member profile for the online CMA directory and access member-only content on the site. Your contact and payment information will be stored separately from your public online profile.
To prevent a lapse in membership, we will be migrating current CMA members into the Memberful platform with your current member expiration date. You’ll receive a separate email inviting you to complete your Memberful account information. Once you do, you’ll be able to create your public member profile on the CMA website.
We will migrate your membership information into the new membership platform over the next few weeks. Our goal is to complete the process by October 30. Once that is in place, you will receive an email with instructions on how to renew your membership using the new system and create your public profile for the online CMA member directory.
Simply follow the system prompts above to become a member. You will be directed to create an account through Memberful. Once you do, you’ll be able to create your public profile for the online CMA member directory.
If you are a current member, your member expiration is still one year from your last renewal. For new members, your expiration will be one year from signing up on Memberful.
Only organizational-level, business-level, and professional musician members will be able to create an online profile.
NO. This was one of the biggest concerns with the previous iteration of the member directory. We’ll collect your contact and payment information separately through Memberful. Only the information you enter into the separate member profile will appear in the public directory.
