Today, Chamber Music America (CMA), the national network for ensemble music professionals, has announced the distribution of $197,900 in awards to support 13 jazz ensembles led by women and gender-minority artists. In addition to the funding, CMA’s Performance Plus program connects the ensembles with experienced artist-educators for evaluative listening sessions and recording projects.
