Grant Richards is an award-winning, Berklee College of Music-educated jazz pianist. He has performed with artists Esperanza Spalding, Terri Lyne Carrington and Kurt Rosenwinkel. After releasing his second studio album Numinous, Richards moved to Tokyo for 3 years where he performed often in the vibrant music scene. After returning to the US, he acted as the Musical Director for the 2019 Jacob’s Pillow Tap Program led by Dormeshia and Michelle Dorrance with renowned artist faculty. In 2021, Richards lead his music in a bold new direction with Ballyhoo, an Afro-Cuban celebration named one of the year’s best albums by Jazziz Magazine. Currently, Richards lives in NYC where he remains active performing.
