Toomai String Quintet

Toomai String Quintet is an ensemble devoted to playing a variety of musical styles from around the world, creating its own arrangements, and commissioning new works. This award-winning group has engaged audiences in NY and across the US for over a decade, presented by Carnegie Hall, Midori & Friends, 92NY, and Juilliard, among others.

Toomai released its 2018 album, Cuerdas Cubanas, and continues to expand the Latin American string repertoire as a major part of its mission.

Members: Emilie-Anne Gendron & Alex Fortes (violin), Erin Wight (viola), Hamilton Berry (cello), and Andrew Roitstein (bass).
