Born in Iowa City, Iowa and currently residing in Los Angeles, CA, Emiliano maintains a busy schedule as a performer and band leader across the West Coast and beyond. Recent highlights include a 2024 Ravinia Bridges Competition – David Baker Prize, and 2023 ASCAP Foundation – Herb Alpert composition awards, and completion of a master’s degree from the prestigious Herbie Hancock Institute in 2023 (formerly the Thelonious Monk Institute).
