Annie Fullard

Recognized as a leader in the field of chamber music performance, education and advocacy, violinist, Annie Fullard serves as the Director and Sidney M. Friedberg Chair of Chamber Music at Peabody Conservatory, Johns Hopkins University and  as Distinguished Artist, Yates Chair of Chamber Music at The Mc Duffie Center for Strings.  A founding member of the Cavani String Quartet, she is co- author of  The Art of Collaboration: Chamber Music Rehearsal  Techniques & Teambuilding published by Oxford University Press Feb 2025. Ms. Fullard recognizes the empathy and connectivity of chamber music as a metaphor for the kind of communication that we should strive for between cultures and nations.
