Daniel Farris

Daniel serves as director of choral studies of Southwestern Oklahoma State University.  He has conducted workshops, taught classes as a visiting professor, and presented at various conferences and universities in the USA, central Europe, and southeast Asia.  He will be a featured presenter at the 2025 Oklahoma Music Educators Association January conference.

His choirs have performed as honor choirs at conferences in Italy, Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. In the summer of 2022, the Southwestern Chamber Choir won the Chamber Ensemble and Best Italian Language Performance categories at the Leonardo da Vinci International Choral Festival in Florence, Italy.

He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of North Texas.
