Sierra Ensemble

Sierra Ensemble, is an innovative violin, horn, and piano trio based in the San Francisco. Performing worldwide and throughout the US since 1998,  Sierra has built audience and expanded repertoire through numerous grants, commissions and education projects. In 2013, Sierra Ensemble was awarded grants from CTA ArtsLink and the US Embassy for projects with Turkish composers at Bilkent and Bilgi Universities. Also a recipient of a grant award via InterMusicSF’s in 2022 creating the premiere of Aldag’s Trio for the ensemble.  Currently composer Antony de Ritis has been commissioned for a new work to be premiered in the ensemble’s 2024-2025 season.
