CMA is happy to announce that we have been working on creating a new platform to provide better customer service to our members. The new platform will launch June 9, 2025. Please be aware of upcoming emails from us as we guide you through these changes.

What is changing?

With the launch of our new platform, our membership levels and billing cycle will be changing. The new levels we are offering are: Undergraduate Student, Individual, and Organization, which will be selected based on budget size. 

Our new membership levels and pricing are the following:  

New Membership rates will take effect with each Member moving to an annual billing cycle of July 1. Since your membership runs for 12 months, any remaining time on your current membership will be credited accordingly. For example, if you renewed your Advocate Membership at $60 (or approxmiately $5/month) in April, 2025, you would have $40 in credit towards your new membership on July 1. If you are moving to an Individual Membership on July 1, your balance would be $60 ($100 – $40 credit). Memberships are due by the end of July, but a grace period will exist until September 1.  

This change will ensure that all members are listed in the printed Fall Membership Directory and have access to all benefits throughout the year.  

We are committed to ensuring that our membership is available to all, so we will continue to offer financial assistance in purchasing a membership, now through a standardized form available through the platform. If you prefer, please feel free to contact us at membership@chambermusicamerica.org. 

Although we will no longer offer our Magazine subscription, additional magazine issues will be available for purchase for members within your account portal. 

What are the benefits of this change?

This new platform brings all the important information related to your membership into one place for convenience. You’ll easily be able to access your tax and insurance letters, grant information, and donation information, as well as view your membership benefits and upcoming events. The platform also gives an updated way to view our Membership Directory, with new filters based on location, genre, etc. – making it easier to connect with fellow members. 

Why the change?

We’ve heard your feedback that our current account management page is difficult to navigate. The new platform will be more user-friendly, making it easier to view your membership benefits, events, and services. Ultimately, these updates will allow us to serve you better and more efficiently. 

For the first time since 2016, we’re updating CMA’s membership levels and pricing. These changes will help us keep membership affordable for those who need it most, while also strengthening the support we provide to our entire community.  

What are the next steps? 

Members will be able to sign into their account in the new portal starting Monday, June 9. You will receive an email prompting you to log in to your account using the current email that is associated with your membership. 

Member’s will receive an email with a link prompting them to sign in to their account.

From here, members can set their Login Name and password for their new account.  

Once on the dashboard page, please edit your profile to make sure that it has the most up to date information possible.
