Piano Spheres

Piano Spheres supports the composition and performance of new works for the piano and rarely heard treasures from centuries past. We expand the piano repertoire by commissioning new music and sustaining a concert series of the highest artistic quality focusing on music by living American composers. Our artists mentor the next generation of pianists through our Emerging Artists Series with public performances and workshops featuring young artists and composers. We increase our outreach with our Summer Jazz Series, and Leonard Stein Artist Residency for Underrepresented Groups.

Piano Spheres will celebrate our 30th anniversary in 2024/25 with our 30 for 30 project: To commission 30 composers to create 30 new works for our 30th anniversary.
