Glass Clouds Ensemble

The Glass Clouds Ensemble is a chamber music collective that performs imaginative concerts of classical & contemporary music on environmental themes. Founded in 2021 by Juilliard graduates Raina Arnett and Lauren Conroy (violin) and Marisa Karchin (soprano), the ensemble has forged partnerships with a wide community of composers, musicians, and local organizations. Beginning in 2023, GCE has partnered with local composting org Earth Matter NY, performing concerts on Governors Island and at the Tenri Cultural Institute and Anita Rogers Gallery. GCE has been in residence at Yellow Barn and Avaloch Farm, and has collaborated with dance company Jody Oberfelder Projects, the Brooklyn New Music Collective, and Music for Food.
