Jonathan Suazo

Jonathan Suazo is an award-winning saxophonist/composer/ educator with notable influences from artists such as K. Garrett, D Sánchez, M. Zenón and J. Coltrane.

He’s been named one of the top 10 emerging jazz artists of 2023 by The GRAMMYS and his debut album RICANO was named one of the 10 best jazz albums of 2023 by the NY Times. He obtained his MM in Contemporary Performance at the Berklee Global Jazz Institute and his BM in Jazz and Caribbean Music at the PR Conservatory of Music.

His greater mission of planting cultural seeds through music around the world has led to the social impact of more than 600 student lives since 2023.
