Lich Gate Concerts brings world-class chamber music concerts in beautiful settings in the southern Berkshires of Massachusetts. Conceived during the COVID pandemic, its fourth season begins in winter 2024, with a concert in the acoustically superb First Congregational Church of Sheffield, the town meetinghouse, built in 1760. Repertoire includes piano, strings, and a vocal or wind soloist. In mid-June and mid-September, concerts are under the Pavilion, a 6,000 square feet wooden structure with excellent acoustics, in Sheffield Town Park and features music for string quartet and others. The principals are Artistic Director & Violinist Jorge Àvila and Executive Director Trudy Weaver Miller.
