Cynthia Cozette Lee
Cynthia Cozette Lee is an international award-winning Black American contemporary classical composer, librettist, arranger, producer, director, flutist, author and educator. Cozette has written for opera, orchestra, solo voice, instruments, choral and chamber ensembles. Her music has been performed in Europe, the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico with such distinguished organizations as the Orchestre Symphonique du Loiret, OperaCréole, Washington National Opera Summer Institute, the New York City Marshall Opera, Crescendo Detroit, Peabody Institute Conservatory of Music. Cozette is interested in collaborating with chamber music groups for the performance of her works.
