Ted Piltecker

Ted Piltzecker’s six critically acclaimed albums have been influential in both the percussion and jazz worlds. His latest, Brindica, reflects a venture circumnavigating the world. His next, Vibes On A Breath, will be released in August ’23 on Origin.

Ted directed the jazz program at the Aspen Music Festival and toured with the George Shearing Quintet. Composition awards include the NEA, the NY &NJ State Councils, Lincoln Center Institute, and ASCAP Foundation. His works have been aired on NPR’s”Performance Today” and performed by the Philadelphia Orchestra Chamber Ensemble. His new orchestra premieres in Argentina in June 2023.
