Arcomusical

Arcomusical is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to spread the joy of the Afro-Brazilian musical bow known as the berimbau through the development of innovative and excellent musical repertoire. Six pillars support our mission:

Although well-known in Brazil and found throughout sub-saharan Africa, most Americans are not familiar with the musical bow’s elegant simplicity. Both in Brazil and here in the United States, Arcomusical is hard at work reimagining what the instrument can do.
