Jesse Palter is a singer/songwriter with a passion for storytelling through composition. Discovering songwriting at 13, she collaborated with Andrew Gold at 14 and later worked with The Bass Brothers in Detroit. Jesse majored in jazz at the University of Michigan School of Music, winning a Detroit Music Award for Outstanding Jazz Composer. During her tenure in LA, she composed for her ensemble while working as a songwriter for commercial projects. She self-released “Nothing Standard,” featuring original compositions that highlight her approach to jazz and improvisation, amassing over 3.7 million album streams. Jesse is committed to pushing the boundaries of jazz while honoring its tradition with each new release.
