Dan Flanagan

Dan Flanagan currently serves as Concertmaster of the Sacramento Philharmonic and Opera, Concertmaster of West Edge Opera, and Instructor of Violin at University of California, Berkeley. He is a member of Trio Solano and Eco Ensemble, and has performed solo recitals in New York City, San Francisco, Berkeley, Oakland, Sacramento, Houston, Los Angeles, San Diego, Chicago, Rome, Perugia, London, Bordeaux, and Paris. He created The Bow and the Brush, a project of composing and commissioning new pieces inspired by artwork. Flanagan has performed as concertmaster with the Oakland Symphony, Santa Rosa Symphony, California Symphony, California Musical Theater, Symphony San Jose, and Opera Parallèle.
