Mallarme Music

Mallarmé Music is a flexible ensemble of professional musicians based in Durham, North Carolina, celebrating 40 years in 2024, whose mission is to enrich the lives of the community through outstanding chamber music performance. The ensemble distinguishes itself in the community by its innovative educational programs, its commitment to creative collaboration with other organizations, its creation of significant new work and its dedication to serving a diverse population.

We present 6 series concerts and 3 free family concerts annually. Performances range from early music on period instruments to newly commissioned works by American composers. Mallarme is nomadic and performs in venues throughout the NC Triangle region and beyond.
