Jazz vocalist and composer/lyricist Aimée Allen is known for her lyrical and poignant compositions. She performs in New York City and frequently tours abroad. She has recorded 6 studio albums. Her latest, Love and the Catalyst, was nominated for an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Jazz Album – Vocal. Her trio with guitarist Tony Romano and bassist François Moutin was awarded a 2023 Chamber Music America New Jazz Works Grant. Her original music has been licensed for film and television.  She has sung with many renowned jazz musicians including Romero Lubambo, Ron McClure, François Moutin, Roswell Rudd, Ari Hoenig, Joel Frahm, and Yomo Toro. She has twice been named a Rising Star in the Downbeat Magazine’s Critics Poll.
