Noah Garabedian

Bass player and composer Noah Garabedian  holds a BA in Ethnomusicology from The University of California Los Angeles and a Master’s of Music Performance from New York University. He has performed with Ravi Coltrane, Jeff “Tain” Watts, Andy Milne, and Kris Davis. Noah is a 2022 Calouste Gulbenkian In View Grant recipient; 2021 Creative Armenia/AGBU Fellow; 2022 and 2016 Fulbright Specialist Grant recipient; 2013 and 2015 Arts Envoy Grant recipient from the US State Department; 2011 ISB Double Bass Competition finalist. Noah released his latest quartet album, “Consider The Stars Beneath Us,” in October 2022, on Outside In Music, and is also a part of the collective trio, Ember.
