Eliot Cardinaux / Gary Fieldman Duo

The Eliot Cardinaux / Gary Fieldman Duo is comprised of poet, pianist, & composer, Eliot Cardinaux, & drummer/percussionist Gary Fieldman. Located in Western Massachusetts, the duo works at the intersection of through-composition & improvisation, incorporating lyric poetry by their pianist in performance as well, presenting free-improvisations, & compositions written by Cardinaux over the last 15 years. They have performed as a duo & in other settings in Boston & Western MA for the last 5 years. Their debut album as a duo, Pavane, was released in 2022 through The Bodily Press, Cardinaux’s own imprint & label.
