Kodan Quintet

Described as “dynamic and charming” (IPR), Kodan Quintet pushes the bounds of chamber music performance through unique, refreshing, and newly commissioned repertoire that emphasizes audience accessibility and underrepresented voices. Upcoming projects include a commission by “Houston’s ‘coolest’ composer” (Houston CityBook) Nicky Sohn and a debut album featuring works by Valerie Coleman, Jon Deak, William Grant Still, and Amy Beach. Quintet members Hunter O’Brien, Ian Daugherty, Keeheon Nam, Corbin Krebs, and Lauren Anker have received prizes and recognition from the Coltman, MTNA, Fischoff, and New Orleans ChamberFest competitions.
