Dan Flanagan

Violinist/composer Dan Flanagan created The Bow and the Brush, commissioning new music inspired by visual art. A member of Trio Solano and Eco Ensemble, he serves as Concertmaster of the Sacramento Philharmonic and Opera, Concertmaster of West Edge Opera, and Instructor of Violin at University of California, Berkeley. A guest concertmaster with the Oakland Symphony, Santa Rosa Symphony, California Symphony, California Musical Theater, Symphony San Jose, and Opera Parallèle, he has performed solo recitals in NYC, Boston, San Francisco, Berkeley, Oakland, Sacramento, San Diego, Houston, Chicago, Rome, Perugia, London, Bordeaux, and Paris.
