The International Chesapeake Chamber Music Competition is for young professional chamber music ensembles. The competition draws applicants from the around the world and is a program of Chesapeake Music. Esteemed judges and advisors have included Ida Kavafian, David Krakauer, Marcy Rosen, Catherine Cho, Diane Walsh, Tara Helen O’Connor, Christopher Millard, Pamela Frank and others drawn from leading conservatories and orchestras, as well as from ensembles such as the Orion, Mendelssohn and Los Angeles Quartets and performance venues such as Marlboro and Lincoln Center.  The Competition is biennial with the next competition occurring on April 13, 2024.  Check our website in the fall for directions about how to apply.
