Matthew Cochran

Guitarist/Composer Matthew Cochran combines elements of romanticism, minimalism, and popular music in his original music, and No Depression raves, “The pure emotive quality of Cochran’s music pulls you into its embrace and empties your heart with every note.” Cochran performs as a soloist and with Scottish guitar virtuoso Matthew McAllister. Cochran & McAllister’s debut album, Pale Blue Dot, was released in 2024 to wide acclaim.  Cochran is the founder and artistic director of Sacred Black Records, a classical music label and publisher.
